Back in October I was able to go to SLC for conference for the first time ever. Mom was supposed to come with me but sadly it didn't work out. This April, Josh invited me and some other friends of ours to go stay at his place for the weekend and go to conference. I hadn't had that much fun in such a long time! Meeting his family was wonderful and a little nerve racking being a girlfriend and all.
Conference itself was beautiful and incredible and full of the Spirit. We ended up watching Saturday morning session in the VC and tried to get tickets for the afternoon. It was a group of 8 of us and at one point we split up. Josh and I decided to go stand in the stand by line and hope that we could get in. He had his arm around my shoulders ass we walked across the grass to the line. As soon as we reach the line a gentleman approaches us and asks if we were wanting tickets.
"Well, yes"
He then proceeds to hand us 2 tickets for saturday afternoon session on the floor level. WOW! I am so grateful for that man! We ended up going in!

I really enjoyed the weekend. Josh's family was so gracious to allow us to stay with them and we watched all Sunday sessions with them. I'm grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ and to learn from Church leaders.
